This week on smackdown Rey and Batista won the tag team titles against MNM. Melina tried to get Batista to back down from his match that night with Rey against MNM. Batista and Melina started kissing, and Melina ask if the deal was still on. Batista said no, but thanks for the warm up...
Later on...in the match Rey gave Melina and either Nitro or Mercury the 619. Then Batista did his Batista Bomb. Then They won. Melina was crying because she got the 619.
Smackdown: December 9, 2005
At the beginning of Smackdown... It was Rey and JBL fighting. When Rey Rey was coming to the ring JBL started attacking him immediatley. But then Rey got into control by doing some thumbing into JBL's eyes. Then Rey had him into the 619 position, but out of no where Orlando Jordan came and attack rey. The match then was a disqualification. Then Batista came out and saved Rey from the attack. JBL and Orlando got out of the ring as fast as they could and started leaving. But that wasn't the end. Teddy Long came out and annouced that it was going to be JBL and Orlando Jordan against Rey Mysterio and The World Heavyweight Champion, Batista. That was to happen later that night....
Rey Mysterio and Batista vs. JBL and Orlando Jordan:

Batista and Rey were automatically in control. JBL and Orlando had to regroup. When Orlando was able to get control of Rey, they worked on Rey's weakness, his injured ribs. Rey would have got back into control, if it wasn't for Jilian acting as a shield for JBL. Jilian smacked Rey Mysterio, which then JBL got into control. Then when Rey could he tagged in Batista, and JBL tagged in Orlando. Then later JBL and Rey were tagged in. Rey hit the Westcoast Pop on JBL. Then Jilian came into the ring and was about to hit Rey with her clipboard, but Rey caught her before she could. Then Rey Mysterio droppedkick JBL also knocking Jilian with him into a 619 position. JBL was lucky enough to move, but Jilian got a taste of how the 619 feels. JBL trying to avoid rey mysterio, but then JBL tripped over the knocked out Jilian, and made it seem as he had suffered a knee injury. He then left the match( much like he did to Rey Mysterio last week) and left Orlando Jordan alone with Rey and Batista. Orlando fought as hard as he good, but not good enough to go against 2 of the best superstars. Orlando then got the 619, and Batista did his Batista Bomb on Orlando. Then of course Batista and Rey picked up the huge victory. And coming up at armegedon will be Rey and Batista vs. The Big Show and Kane.
